VAnbery Chapel

Perched high on a hill in Mount Alford, Vanbery Chapel offers a truly one-of-a-kind escape for couples.

This beautifully restored chapel, once a church from Tarome, has been lovingly brought back to life and now provides the perfect romantic getaway.

Originally losing its roof in a 1968 storm and becoming a hay shed, the chapel was rediscovered on Facebook Marketplace and relocated sight unseen to our farm—where it now sits beside Vanbery Cottage, the old Tarome schoolhouse. Together, these buildings are part of our mission to preserve local history and offer unforgettable stays.

Whether you're looking to reconnect, celebrate, or just breathe in some fresh country air—Vanbery Chapel is the perfect romantic retreat.
